Dr Bamford (f) studied in Nottingham and qualified in 1995. She has been at Newthorpe Medical Centre since 2001 and is now Senior Partner, she is a trainer for GP Registrars (Dr’s training to become GP’s) and is responsible for their development whilst they are with us.

Dr Cooley (m) also studied in Nottingham and he qualified in 2014. He joined the partnership after a year placement as a registrar. He is also a Trainer / Supervisor for the F2 doctors that we have with us.

Dr Arthurs (f) qualified as a GP in 2018 and joined us as a Partner in October 2019, Dr Arthurs has a strong interest in Medical Education and is also a trainer and supervisor for the F2 doctors that we have with us.
Dr Judith Arukwe

Dr Arukwe (F) joined the Practice as a salaried GP in May 2023.
Our Nurses
We have three practice nurses who work with the doctors to provide a wide range of services, which include:- Management of Long Term Conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure, and Health Promotion, such as cervical smears, child health immunisations, general health checks and advice. If you require any of these services, please make an appointment with one of the nurses.
